Coding a dataset in NVivo 10 for Windows in less than 2 minutes | NVivo How-To Video

Information in codable cells of a dataset
can be coded the same way as any other text based data in NVivo.
If I find a particular quote or passage that I wish to code, I can highlight the text inside
of the cell. I can hold down the left mouse button and
I can drag and drop it into the node where I’d
like the data from that cell to be coded. If I double click on the node to open it up,
in the reference view I can see where I’ve taken the information from the dataset.
I can see the text that I’ve used and if I come over to the right and I open up the dataset,
tab I’ll be able to see this data any other data that I’ve coded from that particular
dataset.
